Prairie Family Room

Designed as a second living room for the home, this space balances family function with a calm, cohesive aesthetic. The goal was to create an environment where children could play freely while still feeling visually connected to the rest of the home.

 

Natural materials, open toy storage, and layered textures bring warmth and softness to the room, while thoughtful organization keeps everyday play contained and accessible. The result is a space the whole family can enjoy — equal parts playroom and comfortable living area.

Styling Approach

A layered, natural approach to family living that combines open storage, warm textures, and simple styling to create a play space that feels organized, relaxed, and visually connected to the rest of the home.
