We’re wrapping up our shark theme with this shark sensory bin, with ice & gems!

Frozen Sharks

sharks & gems | containers & ice cube tray | water & blue coloured water

» prepped & frozen the night before!

In the Bin

sharks | cold water & warm water | salt | droppers | scoops & spoons | jug

• sprinkle salt on the ice and watch it melt

• test which melts ice faster; cold or warm water

• free the sharks from the ice

• count & sort the gems

» add more water as needed

» drip with the droppers, scoop, pour, transfer, PLAY!

» spark conversation — chat about sharks, shark types, habitats, habits, etc!
