Outdoor Vertical Painting

Painting is always fun! What's even more fun?! Painting vertically AND painting outside! Doing this activity outdoors really cuts down on clean-up; thank you, rainy day!

A roll of paper, painters tape, good ol' Crayola washable paints & basic paintbrushes is all you need!

I rolled out the paper and secured it to the deck railing with painters tape. Easy, peasy!

So simple, so fun!

Materials:

• Crayola Washable Paint

• paper Roll

• paintbrushes

• painters / masking tape

In This Activity

• Spark Conversation — chat about what is being painted.

• Fine Motor Work & Concentration — holding & using a paintbrush is great for those little hands & muscles! You're also adding in some gross motor by standing and moving around to create more of a mural.

• Creativity — this open-ended art activity means the littles can really use their imaginations here to paint whatever they'd like.
